Most premium candles sold in India are imported, or poured in a large factory somewhere far from the person buying them. That is fine, but it comes with trade-offs — longer supply chains, less freshness in the wax, no way to speak directly to the people who made your jar, and a price that has to cover several layers of logistics and margin.

Flickermelt is different. We are a small studio in Indore, and every candle you buy from us was hand-poured a few kilometres from where you are reading this (if you live in the city). That means the wax in your jar was in our melter within the last few weeks, the fragrance was blended by someone whose name is on the box, and the finishing quality was checked by a human before shipping — not a machine, and not a distant warehouse team.

Same-day delivery within Indore. Any order placed before 2pm on a working day ships out the same afternoon and reaches you within a few hours. Perfect for last-minute birthday gifts, unexpected guests, and 'I need something nice by tonight' moments.

Studio pickup. If you'd rather come collect your order and see the studio, we welcome scheduled pickups. It's also the best way to sample fragrances before committing to a jar — most customers who visit end up leaving with a candle they hadn't planned to buy.

In-person fragrance consultations. Choosing a candle from a screen is hard. If you're planning a bigger purchase — a set for a new home, gifts for a wedding, or corporate hampers — book a studio visit and we'll walk you through the range in person. No pressure, no upselling.

We regularly make custom candles for Indore weddings, corporate events, brand launches, festive hampers and store openings. That can mean a custom fragrance, custom labels with your names or brand, custom packaging, or all three. The lead time is two to three weeks — we need time to blend, pour, cure, and finish properly. Rush orders are possible but reduce curing time, which we don't recommend for premium gifting.

For weddings in particular, we've made everything from mehndi and haldi favours (mini jars with the couple's names) to welcome hampers for out-of-town guests (three coordinated jars in a printed box). Talk to us early — the calendar for the November and December wedding season fills up by August.

For corporate gifting in Indore, we offer coordinated pickup and delivery so you can send a single order and have it distributed to multiple offices, homes or partner addresses across the city.

We run small candle-making workshops at the studio on select weekends. Groups of four to ten people learn how soy wax behaves, how fragrance is blended, how wick sizing works, and how to pour their own two custom candles to take home. Great for teams, birthdays, hen parties, and anyone curious about how the craft actually works.
