What makes a candle a home decor candle?

Odd numbers work best. Group three candles of different heights on a tray, or set a single tall pillar against a stack of books. Keep the palette tight — two finishes at most in a single vignette — and leave breathing room around the arrangement so it reads intentional rather than cluttered.
For dining tables, low vessels are better than tall ones so sightlines stay open. For shelves, height variation is what stops the row looking flat.
Wipe glass with a dry cloth to avoid water marks. Brass develops a natural patina — leave it if you like the aged look, or polish it lightly with a brass cleaner to bring back the shine. Stop burning when about a centimetre of wax remains so the base never overheats.
Most are lightly to moderately scented so the fragrance complements a room rather than dominating it.
Yes — warm soapy water removes the last of the wax, and the jar or brass vessel works beautifully as a planter or storage piece.
They develop a patina over time, which many customers prefer. A light brass polish restores the original shine.
